Cologne Police Seize Unitree Robot After Teen's Report

Cologne police seized a Unitree R1 humanoid after a 16-year-old reported it made thrusting contact near Wegberg on Oct. 10, 2026, and took two phones. No charges have been filed; police have not established a malfunction or said who held the controller.
