Tshwane's Unchlorinated Water Sickens Hundreds; Tap Not Yet Safe

Unchlorinated water from the Bronkhorstspruit plant reached six Tshwane communities, where up to 408 people, mostly minors, developed gastroenteritis. Chlorination partly resumed on 15 October, but tap water remains under a nonpotable advisory and no pathogen has been identified.
